Mr. Mattison practices both civil and criminal litigation and family law for Pearson & Paris, a prestigious Colorado law firm which emphasizes criminal defense, commercial transactions and litigation, real estate, banking, insurance and recreation law, and family law. Prior to working at Pearson & Paris, Mr. Mattison worked for over 3 years as a law clerk within the U.S. Federal Courts of both Kansas and Colorado, wherein he assisted Federal Judges on matters of criminal, civil and bankruptcy law.
Mr. Mattison received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas. Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Mattison worked as an aide to the U.S. Senator from Arizona, John McCain, at his office Washington, D.C. Specifically Mr. Mattison worked within the Aviation Subcommittee of the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation from 2001 to 2004. Of the more notable contributions Mr. Mattision made while working in Congress, was his work on the various legislative responses of Congress to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
Mr. Mattison received his law degree from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law in 2006. While in law school Mr. Mattison served as a student attorney defending indigent defendants in municipal and misdemeanor matters.
Mr. Mattison is married and has one son.
